Senior Analysts are exposed to a broad range of clients and industries and much of their work resembles that of the Analyst. The main difference lies in the quality assurance responsibilities that the Senoir Analyst will have of the Analysts' work and research. In doing so, they develop first-hand knowledge of critical business issues, while honing client-management and problem-solving skills.
The Senior Analyst will be given direct responsibilities to oversee quality and progress or projects and is encouraged to begin a development of expertise in different industries or functions. As part of this, the Senior Analyst are offered opportunities to participate in internal projects and research projects.
Typically, associates will:
- Conduct interviews within the client organization
- Quality assure research, testing and documentation
- Analyze and review gather market research and data collections
- Use spreadsheet and databases to model and analyze data
- Communicate results orally and in writing to Consuit team members and clients
The Senior Analyst role has room for growth and explorationand as they acquire successful experience on projects, they are given greater autonomy and responsibilities. Most Senior Analysts take one to two years to master the challenges of the role before moving on to the Consultant role. |
